New Year, New Atlas Features
by Emily Podhajsky on January 24, 2022
2021 was a year of self-reflection and evaluation. And it was the same for us. We took the time to reflect on everything we have accomplished, everything we want to accomplish, and how we can best support our customers to achieve your text analytics and social listening goals.
The result: an extensive infrastructure upgrade and Atlas release that provides the fastest and most reliable text analytics and social listening experience on the market. We are excited to bring you our first release in 2022, which is all about giving you more flexibility when using the platform and helping you gain more context and insights out of your data.
This release provides a more robust, flexible, and organized platform with quicker access to the information and context you need to make better decisions. You now have more support and flexibility when uploading and analyzing your own data, more organized and useful post and queries pages, new trending capabilities, improvements to filtering, and more chart types so you can do more with your data.
Here are a few highlights of this release:
New! Dynamic Uploads for Any Data
Thanks to our infrastructure upgrades, you now have the flexibility you need to upload and analyze any data in Atlas. Whether you’re analyzing thousands of product reviews, survey responses, or focus group transcripts, you can now upload this information as-is and perform the same unlimited searches, filters, queries, and analyses as social data.
These updates also provide more opportunities to turn data into information. You can now compare and contrast any type of data you load into Atlas, regardless of whether it contains social data. All data contained in posts are also now available as filters so you can dig as deep into your data as needed. The result is better insights with more context faster, so you can make more informed data-driven decisions.
Quicker Access to Post Information
Gaining insights from individual social posts just got easier with our new Posts Tab. The new post layout provides quick access to the most important aspects of each unique post, and the at-a-glance view simplifies and organizes the detailed metrics for emotions, themes, and other key data points. We’ve also expanded the sorting capabilities in this tab, allowing you to choose how posts are shown by what’s most important for your work.
Compare Multiple Time Frames in a Trend Chart
With this release, you can now view trend data from multiple time frames in a single chart. This expanded view provides more context to your data to help you identify new and emerging trends more quickly. Additionally, our new chart types provide you with more visual options when presenting your data.
A Look Toward the Future
These are just a few of the powerful updates within this release. Our infrastructure upgrades made all of these, and other new features and enhancements possible, while also laying the foundation for a broader vision for the platform’s future. We look forward to expanding and evolving Atlas’s capabilities and providing you with more flexibility, more insights, and more value today and in the releases to come.
